There is something about embroidery that is just sweet. Little Pink House is no exception.
I think this is a great little saying for your home. Especially a home filled with a family.
Melissa Crowe of Little Pink House loves what she does, and it shows.
"I am a poet, fiber artist, and stay-at-home mom. Two years ago, I gave up a full-time, tenure track position teaching writing and literature at a public university in the middle of Maine's North Woods and moved to a lovely little city on the ocean. Lately I'm spending my days with needle and thread, wondering when I will wake up from this good, good dream."
I do enjoy a happy little 'about me' paragraph. Us crafty folks have wonderful lives and we know it.
Melissa's work is simply wonderful. Her bold colors are consistent in her work.
But her theme varies as she finds different ways to execute her embroidery. Melissa strays from the comforts of the hoop onto notebooks and canvasses. She mixes up her media too, attaching fabric and using paint for color. No matter what her subject or medium I am smitten with the results.
wouldn't a little embroidered message be perfect for your lover?
